Methodology

Pre-deployment revenue assurance.

Revenue teams ship outbound faster than they can govern. cadohq inspects each cadence against the research it pulled on your prospects, scores it on six dimensions, and gates deployment so weak messaging does not consume scarce selling capacity.

Where cadohq sits in the stack

Sequencing tools send. AI tools generate copy. Enrichment tools build lists. Until cadohq, nothing inspected the cadence between those layers. We sit between strategy and execution: after the list is built and the copy is drafted, before SalesLoft, Outreach, Apollo, HubSpot, or Salesforce ships it.

The wedge is governance, not generation. cadohq does not write cadences. It checks whether the one you are about to send deserves to reach the buyer.

The evidence

The case for inspecting cadences before they ship is in the data on what buyers reward, what separates top prospectors, and what poor sending costs. Every figure below is sourced and shown with its sample size.

15%
year-over-year decline in cold-email reply rates, from 6.8% to 5.8%, part of a multi-year erosion. Weak outbound is getting weaker.
Belkins (16.5M emails, 93 domains)
86%
of buyers are more likely to purchase when a company understands their goals. 59% say reps do not take the time to understand their business.
Salesforce, State of Sales (5,500 professionals, 27 countries)
2.7x
more conversions for top prospectors, plus 1.8x more quality meetings and demos, driven by sharper targeting and value.
RAIN Group (488 buyers, 489 sellers)
8
touchpoints on average to land an initial meeting. Top performers need about 5, by making each touch earn its place.
RAIN Group
0.3%
spam-complaint ceiling at Gmail and Yahoo. Three complaints per 1,000 messages and a domain stops delivering. The danger zone starts at 0.1%.
Google sender guidelines, Gmail and Yahoo bulk-sender rules
81%
of sales teams now use AI in some form. cadohq is the governance layer that fast adoption still lacks: it inspects what the AI produced before it ships.

These are industry benchmarks, not a claim about your account. The lift cadohq produces on a specific pipeline is measured directly in validation, not borrowed from a benchmark.

The six dimensions
Persona fit
Tone, seniority calibration, technical density, references. Whether this cadence sounds like it was written for the role receiving it, grounded in the research.
Pain alignment
How well referenced pains map to the persona and the research provided. Penalises generic pain framing and cadences that contradict the research.
Sequence logic
Step count, channel mix, pacing, fallback paths. Whether each touch adds new value, or the cadence is just repeated asking.
Revenue relevance
Is the value tied to cost, revenue, risk, speed, or efficiency? Does the buyer have a budgetable reason to respond?
Proof strength
Credible evidence and a believable reason this rep is reaching out to this person now. Named comparables, concrete metrics, specifics over vagueness.
Originality
How unique the cadence is to this prospect, versus generic AI-output or template language. Flags copy that could fit any list.
Launch readiness gate

A cadence clears Auto-deploy when the composite meets your workspace threshold. Below threshold, cadences are routed to Revise with an enumerated list of changes that would clear them. Composite under 70 is held for re-work. The verdict is always one of three. No vague recommendations.

≥ 85
Auto-deploy
Ready to ship.
70–84
Revise
Enumerated edits returned.
< 70
Hold
Re-work before deployment.
How cadohq researches

When you upload a contact list, cadohq pulls public information on each company in the cohort (recent news, leadership, business overview) and synthesizes a research brief. The scorer treats the brief as ground truth: cadences that reference real specifics score higher on pain alignment and persona fit, cadences that contradict or ignore the research score lower.

You can also add additional context the public web won't surface, notes from prior conversations, an internal champion, a specific angle. cadohq weights that as authoritative on top of the automated research. Persona-only scoring is supported when you don't have a contact list yet.

Calibration loop

Threshold values are user-controlled per workspace. Post-send outcome ingestion and automatic weight re-fitting are on the roadmap and will roll out alongside the Small Teams plan.
